A Fantastic Location for Sightseeing

Starting with the location – it’s phenomenal!

The hotel is tucked away on a quiet lane alongside the Vltava River, right in central Prague. It’s within walking distance of top attractions like the iconic Charles Bridge, Old Town Square, Prague Castle, and more.

I loved being able to just step outside each morning and be minutes away from a new adventure. If I didn’t feel like walking, the tram stops nearby provided easy access to sights across the city.

The scenic riverside parklands right outside the hotel made for nice strolls too. And it was easy to find restaurants, cafes and shops nearby when I wanted to grab a bite or do some shopping.

Historic Elegance and Art Deco Style

Okay, let’s talk about the hotel itself – starting with that gorgeous building! Built in 1907, it has a majestic facade showcasing intricate Art Deco architecture. I’m a total architecture nerd, so I loved taking in all the ornate exterior details.

Stepping inside, I discovered the lobby and common areas matched the same historic elegance. There are marble floors, huge windows, crystal chandeliers – so glamorous! It made me feel like I was staying at an aristocrat’s city mansion back in the 1920s.

Yet at the same time, all the furnishings and decor are clearly modern and uber comfortable. So I got that sense of old-world charm blended seamlessly with up-to-date amenities. It perfectly reflected the vibe of Prague itself!

My Cozy Guest Room

After long days out seeing the sights, I always looked forward to returning to the comfort of my guest room. The rooms are spotlessly clean, which I really appreciated.

Mine had nice parquet floors, a cushy queen bed with luxurious linens, and tasteful neutral decor. The mattress, pillows and soundproof windows meant I slept like a baby every night.

I also had a decently sized bathroom with some high-end toiletries. And a desk nook if I needed to get any work done on my laptop.

Overall, the room had everything I needed for an awesome stay! I liked that the vibe was more classic and understated rather than over-the-top ornate.

Fabulous Breakfast

Okay, can we talk about the breakfast?! It was incredible. One of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had in Europe, for sure.

The spread included all kinds of tasty hot and cold items like pastries, cereals, yogurts, smoked salmon, custom omelets, roasted veggies, cheeses and more. The breads and jams were delicious too. And of course, excellent coffee.

I loved having so many options to choose from each morning. The breakfast room was really pleasant as well, with big windows overlooking the hotel’s pretty garden terrace. And the staff did a fantastic job of keeping the buffet fully stocked and everything freshly made.

Having such a phenomenal breakfast really started each day of my Prague adventure on the right foot. I always felt happily fueled up and ready to explore!
